Yuka Stein offers piano lessons for children and adults in the Greater Baltimore area. Yuka’s studio is conveniently located between Baltimore and Towson in the Rodgers Forge neighborhood.

Yuka is a native of Japan and graduated from the Showa Academia Musicae with a degree in piano performance. Her teachers have included, Toyoo Asakawa (Showa Academia Musicae), Akihiro Okumura (Showa Academia Musicae), Kenji Watanabe (Tokyo University of the Arts), and Amy Dorfman (Blair School of Music, Vanderbilt University).

Yuka has played as a professional piano accompanist for Seiki Amemiya who is a well known vocalist of Japanese traditional songs. In 2001 and 2002 , she performed with Toyoharu Sakuma, a former principle cellist for Tokyo national orchestra, at concerts in Yamanashi, Japan. She has accompanied many chorus groups as well. In 1998, she founded and directed the adult choir “ Rose”, which had numerous live performances as well as an appearance on a musical television show in Yamanashi.

Yuka has been teaching piano to children and adults for 13 years and is a member of Music Teachers National Association, Music Teachers Maryland State Music Teachers Association, and Music Teachers Association Greater Baltimore. She has been living in the United States since 2002 and in Baltimore since 2009.

Her non-musical interest is in writing poetry.
